Here are current projects I am part of.
The Emerging Research and Creation Projects initative was created by the Transformative Memory: An International Network, a project started from the University of British Columbia by Dr. Pilar Riaño-Alcalá and Dr. Erin Baines, that aims to support collaborative works made by those among the Network and collaborators following the themes set out by TMIN. Here is a proposal I plan to submit for this year's application.

I had the honour to volunteer in June 2026 at the MOVICE chapter of the Valle del Cauca located in Cali. During my time there, I learned about the embroidery initative MOVICE started with local women who had family killed and/or disappeared by the armed conflict in Colombia, and how the act of embroidery was a tool to preserve the memory of their loved ones and the crimes that were committed against them. By selling their embroidered bags, this initative also serves as a way to make a living, especially when the breadwinner of their households who are often men, are no longer here. Currently I have some of these bags to sell in Canada with the funds going back to the women.
